Winter Skin Tips

Winter has hit in full affect here in 2014 and as we all know, dull skin is still a no- no.
While the weather continues to drop, we want to make sure that you are glowing this season, and heres how.

1) Water, water, water- You've heard this before, now your hearing it again. You must drink your water. Not only does water keep you hydrated, and refreshed, a super plus when it comes to looking fab- but it also hydrates your cells, preventing wrinkles, helping stave off under eye circle, and keeps you moisturized from the inside out. Seriously, drink your water.

Helpful tips: If you're like most people, water just doesn't cut it for you, heres a way to make water more exciting. Add cucumber or lemon to your water. Not only do they jazz up you water drinking efforts, but they taste great and are loaded with beauty benefits. Can you say extra glow?

2)Exfoliate- Sometimes its the simple things that keep you looking flawless, and exfoliating is one of them. Why? Well, as we age our skin cells slow down its natural turnover, leaving dead skin glued on top of our skin (kinda like a snake). When this happens not only does ou skin look dull and lifeless but the process if further curbed because of the constant build up of skin, leading to fine lines a wrinkles. Do yourself a favor and exfoliate. Look for and exfoliant with non abrasive beads as to not scratch the skin- Remember; we're trying to solve one problem not create another one. A great product is St.Ives Face Scrub or even just simple baking soda, but BEWARE! Dont exfoliate more than 2-3 times a week or you will dry your skin out or worse, cause inflammation.
